Paris, again!

Yeah, I went to Paris again after London because I can't get enough. I love being in France and speaking French and being able to find a boulangerie every 10 meters and being able to find a métro stop every 8 meters...even the familiar rubbery smell of the métro puts me at ease. That is, until some homeless guy starts peeing on the wall right next to you. Then it becomes mildly uncomfortable and bad-smelling.

This visit was one of the most fun ones I've experienced so far...it was honestly because I hung out with such cool people. I stayed with my friend Emma who went to Haverford who is currently studying in France right now for grad school. I also got to hang out with Claire (yes, again...clearly I love her), Natalia, Chloé (a Cypriot girl who contacted me on facebook and who lives in Paris), Nicholas ItalianCalifornian Lotito, Lénaic, and I even saw my host family, too.

I spent a lot of time in the Marais, first with Claire and then with Nick getting fallafel! Yeah, that's right, we went to L'As du Fallafel...the place that's frequented by Lenny Kravitz. It was freaking amazing of course...I can't believe I had never been there before. Nick and I also got really amazing crepes...2 plus a drink for 6 euros...do you realize what an excellent deal that is?! I also took him to the Panthéon, the Mosquée de Paris, and the Jardin des Plantes (I had never been there before). It's surprisingly nice!! Plus they have crazy animals there, and a labyrinth.
